Starting in May we have beautiful tasty rhubarb available. We will pick it fresh for you to use in pies, tarts, jams or anything else you want to bake it in. We love to make rhubarb custard pie, upside-down rhubarb cake and strawberry rhubarb jam.
Big, juicy and sweet strawberries will be ready in Mid-June. Once again this year we have multiple varieties which enables us to have a nice long strawberry season. Each variety has its own unique flavor. Last season's strawberries were so very delicious and we are looking forward to more of the same this year. We really enjoyed our first year with strawberry picking on our farm and are looking forward to another season filled with scrumptious strawberries.

Before strawberry season even ends our first patch of summer bearing red raspberries will be ready to pick. This can be as early as Mid-June or towards the end of June and lasts close to the end of July. Our black raspberries come the second week of July with a picking season of about three weeks. This year we will have more black raspberry plants than ever loaded with gigantic, antioxidant rich berries available for picking. Following our black raspberries are purple raspberries which are awesome for jamming. Purple raspberries are our last summer producing berry of the season. They start the third week of July and last until the end of the month.
That is not the end of berry picking though. We have three types of ever-bearing berries that you can come out to our farm and pick through the fall. Our ever-bearing red raspberries begin in early August and continue bearing until we receive our first killing frost.
New this year we will have an ever-bearing gold raspberry. This berry will start in Mid-July and continue bearing fruit into fall. These berries are huge and juicy and sweet. Did I mention huge? Last fall on our new plantings we were amazed and in awe of just how big and flavorful these berries were. Needless to say we are super excited to see them this season. Also new this year is our blackberries. We have three varieties starting in August and lasting into September. We will have limited supply of them this year.
